Yesterday in my post I mentioned that I had a piece of cat print fabric a quarter of a yard by WOF that I wanted to give away. The piece is by Timeless treasures fabrics and has some really cute kitties on it.
As it 's my birthday next Saturday I would love to share this piece of fabric with another cat lover somewhere out in blog land. All you need to do to have a chance of winning is leave me a comment saying why you like cats. If you are a follower of my blog you can have a second chance - just leave another comment. This is open to everyone but do make sure I can contact you should you win. If you are a 'no-reply' blogger you need to change you settings. There are several tutorials that explain how to do this for example Connie at Freemotion by the river. Go on do it now. There are always give aways going on and you could miss out on lovely prizes.
I will leave this give away open until December 12th. The winner will be announced the following day.
Another give away will take place to celebrate Quilting gallery's 5th birthday on December 10th. I haven't finally decided if the give away will be a fat quarter bundle or a charm pack. Again this give away will be open to everyone.

ReplyDeleteI love cats because all the ones I have had as pets have been incredibly loyal and loving. They are great companions and seem to enjoy my company too. They come in so many colours and types and their shape lends itself to lots of artistic projects. I like all things to do with cats. Thanks for such a great giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI love animals and have had many pets but there is always a cat in my house. They don't mind when you have to leave, don't need walks, and can bathe themselves thank you very much! Yet the are loving and affectionate and have purrsonalities all their own.

ReplyDeleteCats are independent yet show their love. They are a lot cleaner than dogs. :) They are amusing and just so cuddleable (most of the time). We have two 2 years old kitties now and they are a joy.

I LOVE cats! There has never been a point in my life that I didn't have a cat...most of the time...it is more than 1 cat! :) I can't imagine my life without a cat purring by my side. I like that they are soft, furry, independent and highly opinionated.

ReplyDeleteI love cats because they are soft and cuddly and they are so entertaining. Plus they kill mice. Unfortunately I'm allergic to their fur... But sometime I would like to get a hypoallergenic one. In the meantime the fabric would be a nice substitute.

With seven cats in our house who take turns daily trying to out "mischief" the other...there are days I simply can't remember why I love them so and couldn't dream of being without their cute little fuzzy faces...and then one will come up and give me a 'head bang'...paw at me gently...or nuzzle my ear...now I remember!

ReplyDeleteI have had cats since I was around 4. My last cat (who has gone to kitty heaven) was a Maine Coon and he was BEAUTIFUL. His name was Sarge and he was the sweetest gentle giant. I would love to have this fabric!

ReplyDeleteI like cats because they are warm and furry, and I especially like ones that are somewhat generous about purring. :-) I like the fact that they bestow their affection rather than slobber it all over the place like dogs. LOL I like our dogs OK too, though - outside. :-) I also like cats because my husband likes cats - a lot - and strangely enough, the feeling is mutual. Most cats really like him too. We only have one cat at the moment who grudgingly lets us live here, but we've talked of getting a second. :-)

I like cats because they are independent, yet still want to climb in your lap and keep you from reading or surfing the internet until they get the petting they think they deserve.
ReplyDeleteI love them because they are fascinating and somewhat aloof -- so when they choose you to be their Human, it is an enormous compliment! My first cat was born at almost the same time as me, at my grandmother's house, and when I was a year old he came to live with me. It has been cats ever since! I would be utterly lost without a cat!
