A Friday finish

I'm feeling very pleased as I have managed the first finish of October. I'm working on four quilts. at the moment. There are two baby / child quilts, the Dulcinea and my Happy Anniversary quilt. The 6 block baby quilt is completely finished including the binding.

The blocks are quilted in the ditch and there is a trail of hearts around the sashing and borders. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get a good photo of the quilting. The light outside was fading and inside I needed the lights on which still didn't work well. Never mind I'm still very pleased with my finish.

The Schnibble quilt is quilted but I need to do the binding and the other baby quilt is waiting to be quilted. The Happy Anniversary quilt is coming along well. I've finished the quilting on 4 of the 9 blocks so I think I'm on target to have it finished this month.

Tomorrow we are supposed to be going walking with members of our church but I'm not sure I can manage the distance so may opt out and go shopping in Chichester instead. I've heard there is a good quilt shop there.

I'm linking up with Richard's Link a finish Friday and Crazy Mom Quilts Finish it up Friday.

I hope you've had a good Friday.

  1. That's very pretty. It will look special on a cot. I know what you mean about taking photos. I've learned that I have to take mine in a particular room at a certain time of day. Taking them by artificial light is a no-no.
