The blocks are quilted in the ditch and there is a trail of hearts around the sashing and borders. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get a good photo of the quilting. The light outside was fading and inside I needed the lights on which still didn't work well. Never mind I'm still very pleased with my finish.
The Schnibble quilt is quilted but I need to do the binding and the other baby quilt is waiting to be quilted. The Happy Anniversary quilt is coming along well. I've finished the quilting on 4 of the 9 blocks so I think I'm on target to have it finished this month.
Tomorrow we are supposed to be going walking with members of our church but I'm not sure I can manage the distance so may opt out and go shopping in Chichester instead. I've heard there is a good quilt shop there.
I'm linking up with Richard's Link a finish Friday and Crazy Mom Quilts Finish it up Friday.
I hope you've had a good Friday.
Lyndsey
That's very pretty. It will look special on a cot. I know what you mean about taking photos. I've learned that I have to take mine in a particular room at a certain time of day. Taking them by artificial light is a no-no.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt turned out very cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely quilt, Lyndsey. Now I wonder did you go to the quilt shop today or walking? I know what I would do lol
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I really love that pink fabric. I can see the quilting a little bit in this photo. Looks very good.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are so pretty and I love how each block is different!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your finish! The colours are so joyful!
