Tetris QAL week 6

The final block of the tetris QAL run by Melissa over at Happy quilting. For once I have completed this quickly. Every other week I have completed my block just before the next weeks pieces come out. It's been fun to do and it has used up some of the scraps (but not many.)

Next the borders and the finishing and then this quilt will go to Project Linus. In our area many of the Linus quilts are going to a women's refuge. The quilts are greatly appreciated as the women and their children, for a variety of reasons end of having to leave their home and all their belongings.

I will be showing the completed quilt very soon.

  1. It looks great and what a good idea to give it to Project Linus. I'm sure those poor women appreciate it!

    1. Thanks Julie. My Guide unit supported Project Linus last year and made 40 items between them. It seems a good idea to keep up the link since it is such a good cause.

  2. I love that orange print and the square of dark with the red flowers. I'm really looking forward to seeing what all our Tetris quilts will look like finished. So nice to donate it too.

    1. Thanks Anne. The orange and the red fabrics are both ones I have used in my Grandmothers garden quilt and I really love both of them I can't wait to see all the finished quilts.
