September monthly goal

Time really does seem to be rushing by this year, it really doesn't seem like a month since I set the last monthly goal. I'm finding the monthly goal really useful to complete my projects. So what do I want to work on this month?

My main goal, (the one) will be to complete the hexie bag. I bought this kit some time ago and it's been waiting its turn to be completed for far too long.

I've  made the main bag but need to make the hexie facing for the flap. Once made, it will be attached and I can complete the bag by stitching in the lining and completing the strap.

I have started the flap facing in the photo but I've still got a bit to do.

I also want to work on some other projects. I am getting very close to finishing the millennium sampler and I want to try and finish the spitfire square and one side of the outside border.

I would also like to make one of the additional blocks for the hexie quilt. I'm going to add another row to this quit to make it a more useful size.

I'm linking this post with Patty from Elm Street Quilts for her  One Monthly Goal  So bring it on and let's see if I can make it 4 months in a row that I complete my goal.

This weekend John and I went on a short break. I'll tell you about our walk on Dartmoor in my post tomorrow.

Take care

Lyndsey
