April monthly goal

It's time when I need to decide what to work on for the month. There are a whole range of things I could work on and either move them forward or finish them completely. I could set my goal to sew on the binding of the baby quilt and as a result finish it completely. I'm not going to do that as the quilt has to be finished so Lucy can gift it to her friend

Finishing sewing the binding on Richard's quilt is another job I want to get done but this morning I put some time into hand stitching and now I've rounded corner number three. At this rate the job should be completed this week.

What I would like to finish this month is this bag.

I cut the fabric a while back and started the quilting on the front but I haven't progressed it any further. This will make a great tote for use on outings this summer. This is my one monthly goal for April.

Other projects I will be working on this month include the Austen Family Album quilt,

and I'm taking part in the 'in the kitchen stitching' blog hop later this month so I have my project to finish for that.

So many projects to work on, so much sewing to do. Sorry I can't hang around here I've got sewing to get on with!

I'm linking this post with Patty from Elm Street Quilts for April's one monthly goal

Take care,

Lyndsey

  2. It's great to have several projects on the go but so times it feels a bit overwhelming I find. The baby quilt is very pretty.

  3. Wow, so much on the go. Look forward to seeing your progress & finishes. The top quilt reminds me a bit of one I did last year with my friend Joy from Days filled with Joy when we were in strict lockdown here in Oz. Take care & happy sewing.

  5. Kudos for challenging yourself, Lyndsey, instead of taking the easy route!
